We said our good byes to the Invermere Tentas and the Sheas in the morning. Uncle Owl read the kids a "Toot" book. Amelia played with Reese a bit more then we snapped a photo of our two families together before loading up the Mobile Traveler.
I put laundry on at the laundromat while Jonathan went to get gas. While the clothes were in the dryer, we wandered into the centre of town and checked out the Show N' Shine going on. All the streets in the middle of the city were closed off to traffic. We had a photo at the Mile Zero marker of the Alaska Highway and went back to the RV for some food and to pick up our laundry.
Hit the road around 1:30pm. Drove through Fort St. John around 2:30pm. Kids were sleepy and behaved so we kept on going.
Stopped for the night at Sikanni Campground. Ollie made some new friends and had a fantastic play this evening. They brought their cat, Cleo, over... I don't think Oliver knew what to think of her!!
Jonathan gave a helping hand to our camp neighbour, Dick, whose trailer had come free from its axle!! Yikes.
