We wandered over to the Shea's house in the morning for coffee after having bagels and cream cheese in the RV. A plan was made to head to the swimming pool for 1pm. Lisa and Leah and their girls went to the antique store while our family and Al and Davis went to Tim Hortons for lunch (and a hit of WiFi) then to the pool.
Dawson Creek has a fantastic community indoor pool and rec centre! Oliver was soooooo excited that he was tall enough (barely) to go down the big twisty water slide. He did it again and again, huge grin every time. Amelia enjoyed herself, too... And we think that the chlorine helped heal up her gazillion mosquito bites on her face and legs. Poor kid.
After the swim, we split up and our little family went to buy groceries and then stopped at an elementary school to play on the playground for about an hour or so. Amelia was a daring little monkey climbing up the super tall slide over and over!
We went to Boston Pizza for dinner and the kids were great and wolfed down their meals, and coloured in their books.
Back to the house for a bath for the kidlets, and a visit with everyone before we waited out a huge rainstorm and walked back across the field to the parking lot where we parked the Mobile Traveler.
